PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION 
Investors today are plagued by an odd combination of too-much information
and too-little time. The result: many spend too much time looking at stocks
that don't deserve attention, and/or don't know which, among the many items
of information available on a stock, are most relevant. This presentation
will help you quickly zero in on stocks worthy of your attention and
recognize which among the individual candidates seem most promising. These
same techniques can also help you recognize when to sell and when to hold.

* Learn how to build your own stock screens or identify and use pre-set
screens available from credible, accessible sources.
* Learn how to use freely available information to recognize the presence or
absence of financial company "footprints of  success" that enhance the
likelihood that a company being a worthy investment candidate.
* Learn how to recognize when an existing holding should be reviewed as a
possible sale candidate.

SPEAKER'S BIOGRAPHY 
After an 18-year career at Value Line, Marc H. Gerstein joined Market Guide,
which in turn became Multex and ultimately Reuters Research, in February
1999 as Director of Investment Research, where he overseas the "Ideas &
Screening" section of Reuters.com. Mr. Gerstein's Investing Strategies
content encourages investors to go beyond the "hot" stocks they hear about
in the news and to search far and wide for companies (whether widely
publicized or little known) demonstrating some measure of fundamental
excellence. He also urges investors to resist selling based on every
negative event and to instead follow a strategy that identifies stocks
investors should be willing to hold, even in times of temporary adversity.
Gerstein is the author of two books, "Screening The Market" and "The Value
Connection," both published by John Wiley & Sons.
