PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION 
 
There has always been controversy surrounding fundamental analysis,
technical analysis, behavioral finance, market timing, the appropriate
measures of risk, tactical asset allocation versus strategic asset
allocation, and passive investing versus active investing. This presentation
will discuss advantages and disadvantages of these various approaches to
investment portfolio management.

SPEAKER'S BIOGRAPHY (maximum 3-4 sentences): 
Jay L. Shein is a Certified Financial PlannerT professional, a Certified
Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), a Certified Investment Strategist
(CIS), and the CEO of the Compass Financial Group, Inc. 
in Lighthouse Point, Florida.  Mr. Shein is the president of the Broward
County Financial Planning Association.  He is an instructor for the
Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) 
CIMA program held at the campus of the Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania. His papers and research have been published in professional
journals and publications such as The Journal of 
Investment Consulting & Financial Planning Magazine. He has a published
volume titled, Asset Allocation and Portfolio Structure which was published
as part of the CCH Solution Series by CCH, Inc., a 
leading publisher of tax, legal and financial publications since 1913. Jay
received the CIMA designation after completing advanced investment studies
at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
 He completed his studies for the CIS designation at New York University
(NYU) Leonard N. Stern School of Business. Mr. Shein serves on the Florida
Atlantic University MBA Degree Program with 
Financial Planning Track Advisory Board. He is a member of The Journal of
Investment Consulting editorial advisory board. He is Chairman of the IMCA
Certified Investment Management Analyst Certification
Committee and is currently a member of the Board of Examiners for the
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
