John P. Dessauer was a regular panelist on Wall $treet Week with Louis
Rukeyser for more than ten years.  He is the author of two books on global
investing and is widely acclaimed for his global, value-investing monthly
newsletter, John Dessauer's Investor's World.  The Hulbert Financial Digest
rates Investor's World as one of the top five newsletters over the last
twenty years. Mr. Dessauer has personally written every issue of his
newsletter since its inception in 1980.  With over 30 years experience as an
investment professional he has run a billion-dollar trust department and was
Citibank's Senior Investment Officer in Europe in the 1970s. Mr. Dessauer
was responsible for Citibank's private asset management business in
Switzerland and throughout Europe. During that time he served on the
investment policy committee of a German private bank. Mr. Dessauer is known
for his globe-trotting, muddy boots approach to investment research. He
prefers first-hand information on what is happening in the world's
economies. He is often interviewed and quoted in well-known financial
publications, including web based publications. In addition to investment
research and his newsletter Mr. Dessauer manages portfolios for private
clients.
